In 2003 Russian Coatings Corp. has launched new paintwork materials targeted at major industrial customers. The strategy aims at extending the range of paintwork materials of advanced technology, creating materials with specified characteristics, completing a product line, which can enable professional coating. Product lines including enamels and materials for surface preparation tailored to various applications and technical specifications in certain industries are being completed.

Rail supply Industry

For several years Russian Coatings Corp. has been developing specific paintwork materials for railway transport. At the beginning of 2003 the company started manufacture of paintwork materials under a new trade mark "Strela" ("Arrow") – a comprehensive system of painting railway vehicles in a depot, carriage-building and repair works.

Various climatic conditions make special requirements to materials for prime painting and rail transport maintenance. To meet these requirements the plant’s laboratories have developed compounding and produced enamels whose colour spectrum conforms to RAL system. Being certified paintwork materials "Strela" are included in a standard process technology and the list of materials recommended by VNIIZHT.

Roadmarking paints

The total length of motor roads in Russia is several hundred thousand kilometers and the number of cars exceeds 27,5 million.

To preserve road safety Russian road maintenance services use special enamels known under the trade mark "Linia" (Line) in the traffic striping. Russian Coatings Corp.’s enamels possess excellent light-reflecting characteristics and high durability. Various kinds and a full color spectrum of these paintwork materials make "Linia" enamels off-the-shelf on multi-purpose motor roads with various traffic loads.

"Linia" materials can be used in both manual and automatic striping with domestic and foreign road-striping machines. These multi-purpose high quality enamels provide extra benefits for our customers.

Semi-finished materials

Many chemical enterprises in Russia use semi-finished materials produced by Russian Coatings Corp. as ingredients of their own products.

Half-finished resins and varnishes are supplied to large and medium-sized paintwork and chemical industrial complexes. Due to high and reliable quality of half-finished products Russian Coatings Corp. has established stable partnership relations with a number of major domestic paintwork companies.
