A historic fact

Materials which have been developed in Yaroslavl plant’s laboratories became a legend of Soviet car manufacturing. All government cars in the Soviet Union from the 30-s up to 1975 were coated with the enamel which was developed and produced at "Workers’ Victory" plant. 12 coats of automotive enamel NTS-11 were applied, each of the coats being polished in order to achieve the intensity of color and lasting quality.

More than 70 years of experience with materials for car manufacturing, production renovation which has been carried out lately and a certified quality control system allow Russian automobile plants to consider Russian Coatings Corp. to be their main partner which successfully competes with multi-national companies.

For more than 70 years the history of the plant bearing the name Russian Coatings Corp. has been closely connected with Russian automotive industry. Since 1930-s laboratories and production facilities of the enterprise have focused their efforts on the development and production of paintwork materials for domestic automobile plants. In 1931 "Workers’ Victory" plant supplied a complete range of automotive OEM coatings to Gorky automobile plant. At the same time Yaroslavl paint workers launched the production of the first filler, glyptal primer and enamels of a new color spectrum.

In the course of domestic automotive industry history the plant has remained the major Russian manufacturer of paintwork materials. Several generations of automotive coatings were developed and put into industrial production at the plant.
