The representatives of Russian Coatings formed part of a coordination council on creation of a paint producers cluster in Yaroslavl region

A coordination council on creation and development of industrial paint producers cluster began its work in Yaroslavl region. Several enterprises of the paint industry including Russian Coatings in the person of Yakov Yakushev, Chairman of the Board, and Valeriy Abramov, General Director, became members of this council presided by the governor Sergey Vakhrukov.

Cluster is a new efficient form of paint business setup on the territory of a certain geographical region realized as an active dialogue between business and authorities.

The preconditions for creation of the paint producers cluster in the region are:
- historically formed high concentration of the enterprises producing paint materials;
- well-developed infrastructure and advantageous geographical location (proximity to Moscow);
- large industrial productions;
- the developed banking sphere;
- educational institutions of chemical speciality.

The tasks of the new cluster are as follows:
- adjusting the dialogue between the authorities and business society;
- creating the conditions for interconnection between the main paint producers in the region;
- creating the conditions for active investments into development of existent enterprises;
- establishing the new potentialities on promoting the products of local companies onto Russian market and abroad.
