The Paint Materials of Today on a New Production Site: Water-Dispersible Paints Project of Yaroslavskie Kraski Is Coming to a Regular Stage

Russian Coatings is switching over to a new stage in production of water-dispersible decorative paints according to increased demand on this product compared with 2008, when the company has begun to manufacture the water-based materials under the brands Yaroslavskie Kraski, YARKO, PREMIA and BRITE.

The growth of sales of this paint group in the 1st quarter, 2009, in comparison with similar period of the last year made up 13%, and the sales plan has been fulfilled by 112%. The total output of water-dispersible materials for the entire previous period reached in March 2009 10 thousand tons.

On the basis of positive sales dynamics (1,5-2-fold growth during the recent accounting periods) Russian Coatings has decided to build a new shop for 10 thousand tons of water-dispersible materials per year for Yaroslavskie Kraski on a new production site. By the present day the preparatory construction work has been completed, and the equipment for the new plant purchased. The nearest task is the installation and beginning the experimental conditions of the equipment running.

The urgency of the new project is confirmed by statistics. E.g., a share of water-dispersible paint materials in the total sales volume of decorative paints produced by Yaroslavskie Kraski has reached by the present time 25%, still legging behind the demand structure that is constantly being changed in favour of modern and environmentally friendly water materials.

Acrylic enamels, lacquers, paints, impregnating agents, primers and putties under the brands YARKO, PREMIA and BRITE which are going to be produced in the new production shop are called upon to satisfy the demand on water-dispersible decorative materials on the market of Russia and the near abroad countries.

The potential of the new production site equipped with up-to-date storage complex enables to expect further production expansion and increase of water-dispersible product line in the period till 2012. Yaroslavskie Kraski is also planning to transfer the manufacture of solvent-born materials to the new site realizing thereby its intention to create a new plant of decorative paints in Yaroslavl.
