We believe that it’s impossible to be successful at the expense of unreasonable use of natural resources without taking moral responsibility for the state of environment.

However, this is an economic as well as ethical issue. Environmental requirements are becoming increasingly important factors in evaluating the product’s quality and its consumer value. The world experience shows that the growing environmental awareness will be increasingly affecting the consumers’ choice. The main objective of the environmental policy is to reduce environmental impact of manufacturing operations and to produce environmentally compliant products. Much is being done within the framework of environmental management system: the application of innovative refining technologies resulted in minimum emissions to water and air as well as substantial reduction in toxic wastes. Other measures are also being taken.
